PREPARING YOUR HOME FOR THE PUPPY

Bringing home a new puppy ushers in a beautiful chapter in your life. So, it is your duty as a family and as pet parents to fulfill your responsibility of taking precious care of your furry little loved one. One of the first thing that you have to do before you bring your puppy home is to ensure that your home is clean and is pup friendly.

Get your house cleaned and create an area just for your puppy complete with a crate and a comfortable bedding. Keep poisonous items like insecticides, fertilizers and rat poison out of their reach. Keep your pup away from sharp objects and electrical wiring, cables and cords. Plants that are considered to be harmful and poisonous to your pup must be kept away. Chocolates and a few fruits like grapes and raisins must be out of their reach.

You will have to shop for essential equipments like collar, leash, food and water bowls, chewing toys and a dog kennel. You need to stock up on a good quality dog food, the kind recommended by your vet.
