How to keep your kittens warm and comfortable

Kittens prefer their bedding to be warm, dry and clean. So, make sure that the place you choose is away from harsh weather conditions. You can use a box or a cat carrier lined with clean towels or blankets to make a comfortable bed.

If the mother cat is not around, you will need to provide a heating pad or a hot water bottle wrapped in a towel to help keep the kittens warm. During hot climate heating might not be required, yet the shelter must be kept warm and dry. Make sure that they can get away from the heat if it becomes too warm. Check on them constantly and ensure they do not get dehydrated by providing them with enough liquids.
