When to take your pup for a walk
When your furry pal is taught to walk on a leash at an early stage it makes him easier to handle as he grows older. You maybe excited to talk him out for a walk but he maybe still young to start walking outside with you.
So when do you take your four legged buddy out for a walk? Your vet will suggest you to wait until he is done with all the core puppy vaccinations. Parvovirus, infectious hepatitis and distemper vaccinations require booster doses which will take around 16 weeks of age for completion. You will also have to make sure he receives rabies vaccination from 3 months to 6 months of age. So you will be able to take your pet out for a walk only after 4 to 6 months of age. It is always advisable to seek your pet’s advice before taking him out.
